2 cups of fine-grained sugar
2 cups of water
2 cups of fresh or fresh frozen cranberries
In a medium saucepan, mix 2 c. of sugar and 2 c. of water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Put the cranberries in a medium bowl; add sugar water to cranberries. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Strain the cranberries and roll in the remaining 1 c. of sugar. Spread the cranberries in one layer and let them dry. Perfect for snacks, decorating drinks or desserts.
